AFGHAN RESETTLEMENT FUND

YOUTH SCHOOL SUCCESS INITIATIVE (YSSI)

With the support of Scotiabank, United Way is working with School Boards in Toronto and York Region to adapt and launch a version of the Black Youth School Success Initiative (BYSSI) which was started in Peel four years ago. The YSSI offers students in grades 6 to 8 and their families a complementary set of academic and social supports to build equitable, safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.
